Registration privacy

We collect the vet name and email you provide, your optional phone number, news consent choices, the version of the separate sign-in choice you have reviewed, and their wording version and timestamps, your site-specific signed-in user identifier, registration date and accepted terms version. These details are stored to administer your registration and recognize your profile when you return.

Registration alone does not subscribe you to marketing. If you separately opt in, Laurent Locquet may use your selected contact details to send news, courses, events and offers about the Veterinary Cardiology Club, SkillVet, Mitralis and Sonus by email and/or SMS or WhatsApp, according to your choices. Providing a phone number alone is not consent. This consent does not authorise sharing your contact details with these brands for their own marketing. You can withdraw without affecting your app access, using the button below or by emailing veterinarycrashcourse@gmail.com. Withdrawal stops future marketing use; it does not change processing already carried out before withdrawal. Consent records are kept to document your choices and withdrawal. The email you provide is a contact detail; this form does not verify that you control it. Your sign-in email is verified separately by Supabase using a one-time email code. Contact details you edit in your profile do not change the sign-in identity. Cloudflare hosts the app and private account database; Supabase provides authentication and configured profile copies. Secure, HTTP-only cookies keep you signed in.

Checking your preferences…

This changes your Echo Vault consent. It does not change any subscriptions you arranged separately with another service.

Registration details are held while your registration remains active. You can cancel your account in My profile. This deletes your registration and linked personal app records and immediately blocks your existing sign-in sessions. A background process completes deletion of your Supabase authentication record and configured profile copies; minimal deletion markers prevent stale requests from restoring your account. Aggregate statistics remain. Already-delivered email notifications and separate subscriptions are not automatically deleted or cancelled. Contact veterinarycrashcourse@gmail.com to request correction or deletion or ask questions about these details. Hosting and authentication providers process information needed to operate the service; their applicable privacy notices also apply.

If you use the daily challenge, we also save the day, your selected answer or skip, correctness and points. Points are calculated from those saved entries. We show only your chosen scoreboard name and total points to other registered vets when you opt in and reach 10 points. You can hide your entry again in the scoreboard settings. Your email and individual answers are not shown on the scoreboard.

We record daily app activity against your signed-in identifier: page visits, summary generation, completed photo text reads, recording starts and summary-download requests. We use these events to calculate unique daily users and aggregate usage statistics. Activity records do not contain audio, photos, report text or measurements. The administrator can view these statistics and receive an aggregate daily email.

For referrals, submit a friend’s email or international phone number only with their agreement. The server receives that detail to check eligibility, then stores a one-way fingerprint, contact type, referrer identifier, submission time, confirmation wording version and awarded points. The raw referral contact is not retained in the referral table and is not used for automatic invitations or marketing. Fingerprints remain personal data and are held while needed to prevent duplicate rewards; contact us about access or deletion. Different contacts for the same person cannot be automatically linked. Referrals and reward eligibility may be reviewed.

If you choose to pay, checkout takes place on Stripe. Stripe processes the details you enter there under its applicable privacy notice. This app does not receive or store your card details.

The report assistant reads selected report photos in your browser and does not upload them to our server. Report text, reviewed measurements and summaries remain in the page and are not saved by Echo Vault. Browser or keyboard dictation may send audio to your browser or device provider; its privacy terms apply. Remove identifying information before using photos or dictation.

Echo measurements are not saved as part of your registration. Do not enter identifying client or patient information in the measurement workspace.

This service remains a private preview. Operator identity and the full privacy notice must be finalized before inviting external users.

Terms acceptance

We record the accepted terms version and acceptance timestamp with your account to document acceptance and present material updates. Previous acceptance records do not establish acceptance of a new version.

Feedback

The feedback form submits your topic and message to the Service. We store them with your signed-in account identifier, submission time and notification status in a private administrator inbox. Authorised administrators may view your registered name and message. When configured, our transactional email provider (Resend) processes the notification recipient and message content to notify the administrator. The recipient address and email-service credentials remain on the server; they are not included in the feedback form or its submission response.

Feedback is used to respond, investigate errors and identify improvement or learning needs. Do not include confidential client or identifiable patient information. De-identified themes may inform future education and products; submitting feedback is not marketing consent or permission to share your contact details with another organisation. Messages are retained while reasonably needed to address the issue and related legal obligations, and should be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed. Use the published privacy contact to request access, correction or deletion.

Optional phone notifications

If you separately enable promotional push notifications, we store your device subscription endpoint, encryption keys, account identifier, consent wording version and opt-in time. Laurent Locquet uses this subscription to send course news and offers about Veterinary Cardiology Club, SkillVet, Mitralis and Sonus. Browser and device push services (such as Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft) process encrypted messages and technical delivery information. We record message content and delivery-attempt status; an accepted push does not prove that it was displayed or read. Turn off this device or all devices in My Profile, or withdraw all marketing consent. This removes the relevant subscriptions and their linked delivery records; account cancellation also removes them. Messages already handed to your phone’s push service may still arrive. Notifications can appear on your lock screen. Email/SMS consent and terms acceptance do not enable phone notifications. Clinical values and account pages are not cached for offline use.

Daily Challenge reminders

If you enable daily reminders, we store your device push subscription, reminder preference and daily delivery-attempt status. Reminders are separate from promotional notifications. You can switch them off for one or all devices in My Profile. A delivery record prevents repeat sends for the same UTC day, including after switching reminders off and on. Cancelling your Echo Vault account deletes these linked records.

Sign-up data storage

Echo Vault synchronises your profile and communication preferences to its Supabase project in the European Union. Its existing app database continues to support account features. Profile changes and cancellations are synchronised; if a service is unavailable, a pending update is retried. Cancellation removes the profile details in both stores. A one-way hashed identifier and version number are retained to prevent delayed updates from recreating deleted details.
